My client Guy Hull’s wonderful book telling the story of the dog in Australian history, The Dogs that Made Australia, launched last weekend in the picturesque surrounds of Bowral in the southern highlands.
Here I am with Guy at The Bookshop Bowral, 309 Bong Bong Road. Guy is poised to inscribe my copy of his book. Bookseller Mary and her team put on a generous spread for the family and friends who travelled there to celebrate Guy’s enormous achievement. A charismatic storyteller both on the page and off, Guy entertained the audience with the story of how he went from having an idea for a book, and not knowing whether or not it was one that a book publisher might like, to contacting me, and becoming a published author.
